Piano.   :o)  Who don’t like the sound of soothing melody coming out from a musical instrument called piano.

As my iPod Touch become so boring(un-jailbroken), so I download as many as free app as I can… Hahaha.. :-D

But, I cannot stay away from my passion in music.

If you know iBand, is a band which their music instrument is using music instrument app on iPhone or iPod touch!

No real music instrument!

This is one of my favorite song, Numb by Linkinpark. :-)

The above iBand was perform using paid app.

But, let’s find the free app that pass the quality for being use to perform.

After short listing the “rubbish” , I got 12 piano app.

AnyPiano

I didn’t like this piano app.
It’s too limited and the sound is small.

The settings are only to change between high and low key, and the key is starting with F which I can’t figure out why.
Recommended?  No. :-!

This is one of my choice piano app.
It have two sets of keys, start in standard layout C.
The lower set is low pitch and the higher set is higher pitch than below and it is continuing set of the lower set.

The sound is great, and you can switch the sound with “Toy” or “Grand” mode.
To change the sound mode, simply tap on the i icon.

This awesome free piano app.
It have 24 keys(if I’m not misscount), and there are built in classic songs such as Fur Elise.

When you open the app, it will load with middle C, and you can drag to lower or higher key by dragging the upper part of the keyboard, the one with blue and green bars.  Those blue and green bars also are the key that will be played if you press on the Play icon.  You may also play the song manually by pressing the key and the blue and green bar will move and tell you what key to press next.

Overall, I recommend this app and yeah this app pass the quality to do iBand jamming.  So go and get this app, the lite version will do! ;-)

The sound is normal grand piano.  The key are sensitive to touch… I mean because it’s big, it’s easy to play.

Here’s how the interface of it.

But for me, this is pretty useless.  Well, everyone have their own preference and this is just not mine. :p

Small Piano

Same as its name.  This is only small… I mean “small” in functionality sound and interface.  Nothing impressive about it.

Here’s how it look;

This is also a must have for piano lovers.

I don’t know how but this one have so called “Tap Force” feature which makes it playable like real piano.

Touch strong and the sound is strong and powerful, touch it soft then the sound will be soft and weak.
